Bhaktapur World Heritage Site. A very happening place, hustle and bustle of a big fruit market, apples, bananas walnuts being sold. Sounds of motorbikes, cars honking passing through, kids running round, dusty roads, fallen bricks to the side, older women drying out rice. In the middle of everything moving around stood this amazing building. It was a very moving experience. (at Bhaktapur)

Climbing up to Kala Patthar 5,500 metres high!! Felt very honoured to hold here Sir Edmund Hilary’s ice axe!! The most incredible views of the mountains, glaciers not to mention -8 freezing cold winds but it was so worth it!! Met these two porters yesterday on our trek have a guess how much weight they are carrying… Are you ready… 100 Kilos each on their back! Absolutely incredible!! They get paid 105 Nepalese rupees for each kilo. 10,500 rupees for 2 days work of trekking them to their destination. That’s about £65, $138 Aus Dollars. There are no roads or cars up in the mountains, everything is brought in by foot or animal and carried. Every building you see, shop with water, restaurant, lodge, cable bridge made is carried in, It’s unbelievable!! (at Monjo, Nepal)

Day 2 of the trek, hiking to Monjo from Ghat. There’s so many of these beautiful Buddhist Stupas en route. By tradition you have to walk round the left of them and spin the prayer wheels. Xx (at Monjo, Nepal)

The most incredible flight I’ve ever been on, absolutely breathtaking! Beautiful mountains all the way flying into one of the worlds smallest airports with a brick wall at the end ahhhh. The start of the trek begins… About to visit one of the schools we’ve raising money for to help be rebuilt after the earthquake. (at Lukla Airport - Worlds Most Dangerous Airport.)
