ABOUT

Rachel was born in Sydney, Australia and grew up in the English countryside South West of London. Growing up she has always had a passion for dance. At aged 18, her first big trip away took her to Hong Kong where she choreographed and taught dance to students for a big production of her late father’s work “African Sanctus" by David Fanshawe.

She went onto gain a 3 year diploma in Professional Musical Theatre (Hons) graduating from SLP College in Leeds in 2011. In 2012, she was thrilled to be selected to perform in the London Olympic Opening Ceremonies and gained a position on Princess Cruises as a Junior Assistant Cruise Director. The ship took her through Europe, across the Atlantic to Texas, Mexico and Belize. She choreographed a flash mob and taught line-dance, ballroom classes and hosted a range of activites.

After her Crown Princess adventure she returned to London in 2013 and started her TV career behind the scenes and worked for several different networks including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 & 5, Sky, Discovery and Al Jazeera.  Programmes included "Britains Got Talent," "Put your Money Where your Mouth Is," "Bear Grylls," "Undateables," "Ibiza Weekender," Bafter award-winning "Goggle Box" and other reality, entertainment and documentary shows.

Rachel is a keen enthusiast for travel and broadening her horizons. October 2014, took her on a road trip across the States from New York to San Francisco. Her mid-twenties travelling buzz gave her the drive to follow her birth routes back to Australia and in April 2015 she transferred to Sydney to continue her work in TV. She worked at Network 7 and ITV Studios Australia on reality and documentaries including "House Rules," "First Dates," and "Keeping Australia Alive."

After the April 2015 Nepal Earthquake, Rachel decided to join a trek in October that year with Michael Dillon AM to climb to Base Camp Mount Everest raising money for the Australian Himalayan Foundation through World Expeditions. All money raised went to help re-build some of the schools after the damage and she taught dance to some of the school children in Lukla and Namche Bizarre on the trek.

Rachel is now based in Vancouver, Canada and a certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition®. She is a freelance Dance Instructor teaching Zumba, Zumba Kids, Zumbini, Ballet and Method of Modern Movement a body conditioning class. Through her passion for health, fitness and travel she would love to coach and empower others to believe in themselves and pursue their passions!
